MEF Junior Changemakers is a youth-led initiative of the Mutisya Education Foundation that empowers children to help create brighter futures for other children in Kenya. Through fundraising, service, and advocacy, young people learn that they are never too young to make a meaningful difference.
For this project, our Junior Changemakers are raising money to purchase and install playground equipment for students at Komarock Primary School. Funds raised will help provide equipment such as swings, slides, seesaws, climbing structures, and other outdoor play equipment.
Komarock Primary School currently lacks a properly equipped playground where students can safely play and exercise. This new equipment will create a joyful space where children can be active, build friendships, develop confidence and coordination, and enjoy the childhood experience of playing together.
Detailed project proposal: Currently under development.
